Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is recognized as the most common endocrine disorder in women around the world. It is a complex medical condition involving multiple body systems as well as the endocrine system which is made up of glands the produce and secrete hormones that regulate the activity of cells and organs. These hormones regulate the processes of the body, the body’s growth and sexual function as well as development. Over the past 30 years, it has become evident PCOS has not just a reproductive risk but has metabolic and cardiovascular risks that can affect women over their lifespan.

Signs and Symptoms
